An email breach lookup and an indexed-record search answer different questions. Coverage depends on configured access and the data returned for your email.
Indexed-record search
Search one email address in supported document indexes. Review masked records, reported match counts and available chronology, collection counts and file categories. A matching document is not proof that the email owner has an account on a particular platform.
Breach exposure lookup
Where configured, an email breach check returns known breach context and exposed data categories. Descriptions may help identify a potential association with an online service. Sensitive and retired breaches are excluded by this connector, and results remain masked.
Account associations and username intelligence
Use returned descriptions as context for an online identity investigation. A record can suggest where an email appeared, but it does not prove current account ownership. Direct username search, social-profile matching and recovery of individual usernames are not supported.
What the report includes
Free results mask identifiers, document labels and collection names. Available breach descriptions, exposed data categories and index statistics provide research context. Passwords, sessions and underlying document contents are excluded.

Answers about email exposure, account associations and username intelligence.
Can an OSINT tool find leaked accounts?
OSINT and exposure-intelligence tools can identify records appearing in supported public indexes or known breach datasets. These records may suggest an association with an online service. Results depend on the sources searched and do not provide account access.
Can I find accounts linked to an email?
An email breach lookup may return descriptions of services whose breach records include that email. This can help investigate potential account associations, but it is not a complete account directory or proof of current account ownership. Identifiers and source labels remain masked.
Can I search across different social platforms?
An email lookup can return exposure metadata from multiple services when those services appear in the supported datasets. This is not a live search of every social network. Coverage varies and no platform-specific profile lookup is currently offered.
Can I use username lookup or social media username search?
The current workspace accepts one email address per search. Direct username lookup, cross-platform profile matching and the display of associated usernames are not enabled. A breach description may list usernames as an exposed data category without revealing an individual username.
What does a leaked account checker show?
This account exposure search shows masked identifiers, indexed match counts and available breach descriptions, data categories and record statistics. Passwords, session tokens and underlying document contents are not returned.
Does an indexed match confirm a data breach?
An indexed document match is a research lead, not confirmation of a breach or account ownership. An empty result also does not prove an account is secure. Compare the available context before drawing conclusions.
How do search credits work?
New workspaces receive 5 welcome credits. A successful live check uses one credit and a failed check is refunded. Results remain masked. Paid activation and customer API keys are not enabled yet.
